It was my first call center job. I had no idea what it was like nor what I was getting into. I needed a f**king job and all I knew was that it would be similar to a secretary job or office job. That's what I had experience in which is why I signed up for it in the first place. Everyone needs a job to f**king live, eat, and put food on the table no matter what that job is. I didnt agree with how they ran things and I quite within 6 months of being there. There's no need for you to be so? hostile.

First of all, I wasnt a telemarketer. I didnt call people and try to sale things. I worked customer service at an Electric Company and people had to call us to pay their bills, get extentions and whatnot if they needed them, and if they were moving out or moving into a new place, we had to set the time when their electricity needed to be shut off or turned on. FYI, I walked out on that job a? long time ago. this comment I posted was almost a year ago. I didnt like it then either.

I used to be a telemarketer and at the same time my (now) ex-husband was on the news saying how telemarketers were annoying! everyone at work was like WTF!? your husband! LMAO!!!!!

its not fun when you look at yourself in the mirror every day and deal with somone that angry and remember how you were to a customer service representative? at one time. i feel sorry for those people that i yelled at that day. karma came back and bit me in the ass when i got my call center job.

thats true. i work at a call center. im not a telemarketer but i do work as a customer service representative. the people we deal with are horrible and they cause alot of stress on all of us. we do see the ugly side of people and see how they really are and its not pretty.? of course i cant say much because ive been an angry customer before and everytime i deal with one, i always think about how the people i talked to that day when i blew up at them and how i made them feel. :(

that's beautiful. i worked as a telemarketer -oh,? excuse me, i mean a "customer satisfaction specialist" as we were supposed to call ourselves- for about 3 months. it's easy work (if you can handle dealing with angry jerks several times a day) for good money but i don't enjoy working for Evil Incarnate. that is the down side. I did quit but seeing as money is necessary for survival in this society....... I'll probably be going back... le sigh.
